Jennifer Graduated from Manchester School of Physiotherapy in 2004 with a first class Hons Degree in Physiotherapy. After qualifying she completed her junior rotations in a variety of clinical settings before specialising in Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedics. As a Senior Physiotherapist at the Manchester Royal Infirmary, she gained a wealth of experience in both trauma and elective orthopaedics as well as a varied outpatient caseload.
In 2009 Jennifer started her training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and began leading clinical Pilates classes for staff members at the hospital and at a Private Clinic. Over the years Jennifer has continued her professional development with the APPI completing further courses in small equipment, ante and post-natal qualifications as well as attending the annual APPI on tour dates. She is currently undertaking a further qualification to teach BARRE Pilates.
After relocating to Buncrana in 2015 with her young family, Jennifer has brought her clinical Pilates classes to the local community.
As a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 10 years clinical service in the NHS, Jennifer has gained vast experience of a range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions which allows her to adjust and modify her classes, choosing the most effective Pilates exercises for individuals and helping to ensure that each person attending gets the maximum benefit from the class. Jennifer strives to provide enjoyable varied clinical Pilates classes in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Jen has also experience of working in the private clinical setting from 2008 – 2011.
